All diagrams shown below are correct.
You just need to correctly choose the beginnings and endings of the phase windings. Such windings are used in segmented stator cores, especially in large motors where part of the winding can be inserted into the segments before the core is assembled. The shown form of the winding ("split" diagrams) greatly simplifies the connection of parts of the winding. Note that the winding pattern is the same for 24 slots, 4 poles and for eg 72 slots, 12 poles for 96 slots, 16 poles, etc. The number of segments selected by the manufacturer for a particular design can depend on several factors, some technical and some economic. The segmented stator core reduces waste material also. For most service centers, machines with segmented laminated stators are processed no differently than those with one-piece lamination.
