The new program covers the class of asymmetrical windings where q = N + 1/3 or q = N + 2/3

We have our own software for generating three‑phase windings with extremely good characteristics:

  • high winding factor

  • and exceptionally low content of harmful harmonics.

    The program covers the class of asymmetrical windings where q = N + 1/3 or q = N + 2/3, N is any integer.

Among others, this includes slot/pole combinations often seen in practice, shown in Table 1 with a high winding factor, exceptionally low content of harmful harmonics, and equally filled slots, as well as numerous three‑phase windings where the number of slots is not divisible by 3, shown in Table 2, which are most commonly used in single‑phase motors and therefore enable redesign from a single‑phase to a three‑phase winding.

For all windings shown—and others—the common features are a high winding factor, exceptionally low content of harmful harmonics, and equally filled slots.

  • You can purchase any of these diagrams, with or without winding analysis. Some of them are listed here.

  • We are also prepared to sell the program’s source code to serious buyers so they can host it on their own website or use it locally on their computer offline.
