From idea to complete winding diagram in just a few seconds.
This is a program that generates diagrams for any three-phase, double-layer lap winding — symmetrical or asymmetrical — for series connection or any feasible parallel connection.
It is sufficient to enter only two input parameters: the number of slots and the number of poles.

The program currently provides the basic numerical winding data:
Whole Winding Grouping,
Total Number of Groups,
arrangement of coil starts for each of the three phase windings,
type of internal connections,
maximum number of parallel circuits, as well as
the most commonly used coil pitch.
At the same time, the program generates a complete winding diagram for a series connection (1 circuit), along with a selection menu of all other possible parallel connections. By clicking on the selected Number No. of Parallel Circuits, a complete diagram for that specific case is displayed ( Download and review the pdf file below) .

In addition, the program already provides a Table of Coils, i.e. a list of inserted coils in specific slots, for the recommended pitch, shown separately for each phase ( review the pdf file below).
If a different pitch is required, it can be selected in the Select Another Pitch menu. By clicking Generate Table for New Pitch, a completely new table is generated, corresponding to the newly selected coil pitch.

At the same time, two additional tables are generated for the selected coil-pitch. In the first table, you can find the distribution factor, chord factor, and basic winding factor for each phase ( review the pdf file below).
Please note that these values are not identical for all three phases in the case of an unbalanced winding (as in this example with 60 slots and 18 poles).
The program also provides data on the phasor amplitudes for all three phases, as well as the phase angles between them.
All displayed data and diagrams can be easily printed and saved as PDF.
The entire process takes only a few seconds and supports motor or generator windings with up to 600 slots and 200 poles.
