Sinusoidal Single-Phase Windings

From time to time, we get inquiries about the "unusual" single-phase winding with different number of turns per coil (please, review the picture below) . In fact, just the opposite, this kind of winding is most common single-phase winding lately . Almost each single-phase winding is so called "sinusoidal" winding and that is nothing new. In practice, the most common case of single-phase motor is with 2 poles/ 24 slots and it is sinusoidal.

But, note that this slot/pole, single-phase combination can be realized in many ways. Most of them are shown in our publication that is available for purchase. Click here for more details. They are commonly used in practice. The figure shows an example that can be found in our publication also.
