New software is underway

New software creation is underway: Quick estimation of turns/coil for your 3-phase motor.

There are several ways to determine the winding data of 3 phase motor:

- 1. The best way is to record the original data specified by the manufacturer, if there is no reason to doubt.

- 2. If this is not possible or the data is lost or the data is not reliable, you can contact us for the calculation and the internal diagram. Note: Reliable stator core and slot measures are required. Read carefully the explanation.

- 3. If you can not get all the necessary data, here is our new "turn / coil" valuation tool

Obviously, only a few input data are needed here and that's why this is an evaluation rather than a precise calculation. Also, the wire size calculation is not included here. This tool is created using the original manufacturer's winding data of several thousands of motors from our databases, and that's why it's quite reliable. Can you check each motor from your workshop using this tool? Probably not. Here is a limit: The value of the cross sectional area (in sq. cm) of the full pitch pole must be from range: 25 - 450 sq. cm. Also, it is intended for: - standard three-phase motors for S1 duty-cycle, single-speed, for genuine number of poles (not for redesign), - only for symmetric windings with q> = 1 ("q" is the number of slots per pole and phase), - only 50 or 60 Hz.

- only for number of circuits<= number of poles (not for interleaved windings)

- in case of double-layer winding the results are related to pitch 80-100% of full pitch. In this moment the tool is in testing. After testing and proper protection, will be available.
